In 2023, Wentworth Lawyers & Partners had the privilege of welcoming Fatima to our distinguished team. Fatima brings a rich tapestry of experience from both the legal and diplomatic arenas, with a specialized focus on employment law and trade negotiations.

Fatima’s illustrious career includes her role as part of the European Union delegation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, and Oman.

This position allowed her to engage deeply with the complexities of international relations and trade agreements within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

As a licensed legal representative in Saudi Arabia, Fatima’s expertise is not only recognized within the GCC but also highly sought after. Currently stationed in Sydney, she is dedicated to expanding her knowledge of the local legal environment.

Her mission is to assist both businesses and individuals in overcoming the challenges associated with international trade and to facilitate smoother commercial interactions.

During her tenure with the European Union, Fatima played a pivotal role in analyzing the evolving landscape of economic cooperation between the EU and GCC countries, including Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, and Qatar.

Her responsibilities included the drafting of insightful notes and comprehensive reports for the EU headquarters in Brussels, as well as for the member states. Moreover, she was instrumental in supporting the EU Delegation’s efforts to foster enhanced trade and investment ties between the EU and GCC nations.

Fatima’s linguistic fluency in both English and Arabic not only enhances communication but also bridges cultural divides, enabling a more nuanced and effective negotiation process.

Her presence at Wentworth Lawyers & Partners has significantly enriched our firm’s capabilities, and we are confident that her diverse skill set will continue to yield positive outcomes for our clients and partners in the international legal community
